This central community site provides access to the individual global and practice area communities. The practice area communities offer news headlines, insights and analysis, podcasts, blogs and top cases for over 15 areas of law such as bankruptcy, copyright, and emerging issues. You can access free tools such as powerful search engine capabilities, RSS feeds and e-mail updates. Join a specific community and then come back often and see what’s new on all the sites. Registration is free and one ID and password will give you access to all communities.

LexisNexis recently released Martindale-Hubbell Connected, which is a global online community designed specifically for legal professionals. It enables lawyers to quickly connect, network, communicate and collaborate with trusted and authenticated colleagues. Currently Martindale Hubbell Connected is available to attorneys only, however, later in 2009 the network will widely launch to the full legal profession, and non-lawyers such as librarians, law students, and legal marketing professionals will also be able to join.

The online and research resource targeted toward individual attorneys. The site provides access free access to the last ten years of state and federal case law and U.S. Supreme Court decisions from 1781 to present. In addition it provides headline news and emerging issues analysis. You can also receive RSS feeds from the lexisONE site.
