The Copyright Acquisitions Division’s mission is to augment and enhance the Library’s collections, and enable its Reading Rooms to provide timely, effective public service by acquiring works through the skillful enforcement of the mandatory deposit requirement of the Copyright Act of 1976. This position is accountable to the Assistant Chief of the Division. While performing daily activities, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring proper handling and security of all Library and Copyright Office materials.
