Have you checked your local library? Public libraries in Baltimore, MD, have seen a rise in use of resources and attendance in classes offered, such as “how to build a resume, network strategically, search and apply for jobs online, make job seekers’ employment ‘recession-proof,’ get a federal job in 10 steps and develop basic interviewing skills.” My local library is offering a Jump-start Your Job Search Event next week. Just in case you haven’t checked, it might be worth looking into.
