Law Librarians of Leisure

This coming academic year Albany Law School (the oldest independent law school in the United States) will be hiring a new Director for the school’s Schaffer Law Library. The new Director will start July 1, 2010. The position will be advertised in August 2009, at which time candidates may formally apply (or be nominated by colleagues). In the meantime, two members of the search committee, along with two members of our library staff, will be at the July 25th – 28th AALL meeting in Washington, D.C., and would be delighted to meet informally with anyone who has an interest in this position.
