Large D.C.-based law firm seeks temporary research librarian to perform legal and non-legal research for a period of 3 – 4 months. An MLS or JD degree and a minimum of three years of law firm or corporate legal experience is required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform basic and complex research using printed and online sources, including Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other web-based Internet services. The ideal candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to work on both legal and corporate research problems, have an outstanding service orientation, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and the ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment.
