San Diego County Public Law Library is accepting applications for Head of Circulation Services. This position is responsible for overseeing all circulation, document delivery, interlibrary loan, membership, and stacks maintenance services. This is an exempt professional position, 40 hours per week, including some Saturdays. This position is based at the Main Library in Downtown San Diego and requires travel to the three branches located in the North County, East County, and South Bay regional courts.
Requirements: MLS or MLIS degree from ALA-accredited Library School required. Minimum three years work experience in a library, with supervisory experience, highly preferred. Solid knowledge and experience with Integrated Library System, preferably Millennium III. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with outstanding customer service orientation. Strong commitment to public service and further the service mission of the library.
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
