The San Diego County Public Law Library has an immediate opening for a librarian aide. This position offers flexible part time hours at the main library in downtown San Diego. The individual who fills this position will perform a variety of tasks and projects which may include check-in and processing of materials using an integrated library system, cataloging a variety of materials including e-resources, weeding the collection, and preservation of materials. Some tasks require lifting moderately heavy objects.
Preferred Background: Current student in MLS or MLIS program or experience working in Technical services, experience working with the Millennium system. The candidate should also be detail oriented.
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
