Acquisitions Coordinator, Phoenix School of Law, Arizona

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Description: The Acquisitions Coordinator will assist the Technical Services Law Librarian in providing library resources in an efficient manner to the staff, faculty, and students of the Phoenix School of Law. To achieve this goal the Coordinator must be willing to be adaptable, show initiative, possess excellent customer service skills, show great attention to detail, communicate clearly, and be willing to learn new skills while on the job. Job duties include, but are not limited to ordering, receiving, processing, and claiming library collection resources. Develop positive working relationships with publishers and other outside vendors. Copy catalog materials using OCLC Connexion. Posting invoices using the III Millennium Acquisitions module. Work on other assigned projects such as writing policies and procedures.Performing routine library support work.

Requirements: High school diploma. Two years of college education; associates or bachelor degree preferred. Working knowledge of standard computer software programs (Windows, MS Office applications). Proficiency with integrated library software; preferred. Access to reliable transportation.
