Responsibilities: As the Information Resources Manager you will lead and direct client service strategies and operations for the DC and VA office libraries. Ensure information resources align with goals and that services and resources are consistently at best practice level. Provide extensive expertise in federal research. Manage and develop department staff. Ensure client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of the position. .
Qualifications: 1) MLS degree plus a minimum of 5 years related experience, minimum of 3 years of federal legislative history, federal regulatory, intellectual property, corporate and litigation research, and 1 – 3 years supervisory/management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2) Strong written and oral communication skills. 3) Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with all levels of personnel. 4) Excellent planning and organizational skills. 5) Strong reference and research skills. 6) Extensive database/computer/web knowledge and skills. 7) Demonstrated leadership ability.
