Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, a mid-sized law firm headquartered in Atlanta, seeks a Director of Library Services to manage its firmwide resources.
The successful candidate must possess an MLS and have five to seven years of previous law library experience including supervisory responsibility. Candidates must possess excellent research skills including but not limited to knowledge of Westlaw, Lexis, PACER, RIA Checkpoint and Dun & Bradstreet. Candidates must also have strong administrative skills, knowledge of managing budgets, contract negotiation, experience with vendors, and preferably, experience with managing libraries over multiple offices.
Additional responsibilities include long-term strategic planning of the library and its resources and ongoing training of attorneys, paralegals and staff.
